PROFESSOR SCROOGE: How the Colour Got Duller
an irreverent update of Dickens'
'A Christmas Carol'.
Scrooge is a greedy scientist whose only priorities are fame and wealth, regardless of the cost to the planet.
But as his latest invention starts to drain the colour from the world, a very cross dead guy turns up with an ominous warning. Can Scrooge change his ways..?
How the Colour got Duller is a satirical look at the squandering of Earth’s natural resources - and how we can play a part in building a sustainable future - coupled with chameleons, cuttlefish and some outlandish science experiments!
'Professor Scrooge' will be presented in a short run at Tara Arts on Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd June. Daytime performances are for schools only, tickets for the evening performances are available from the Tara Box Office.
